2013 Finales: Supernatural season 8

I preface this with two things: first - hello! I am back from holiday. And its a scary thought at how quickly time flies and that I still haven't finished my posts about NZ. Second - I haven't seen all my shows yet *is sad*. My plans on catching up on TV fell through as my first and oldest love - reading - dragged me into several books.

Vampire Diaries 1.1 to 1.10
Jan. 1st, 2013 09:22 pmI have a lot of thoughts - mostly about the pervasive appeal of gorgeous angst-ridden vampires and their devil-may-care semi-evil friends/brothers. But there is plenty of meta and critique and essays about that on the web and I tend to overthink things too much. Instead, I will limit my thoughts to the show itself.

Dec. 20th, 2012 01:19 pmSometimes, just sometimes, a tv series that you thought was on its last legs and should have been put out of its misery two seasons ago, gives you a gem of an episode. An awesome, fabulous episode that makes you forgive all the iffy, and blah ones from before.

I am catching up on Shows missed while on vacation... and during Castle's Halloween episode, I got to do my usual - Call the Winchesters!! Call the Ghostfacers!! marlarky for the 'ghost/demon' plot. And then... this happened!

I am really going to miss Ten. I am ridiculously excited about more Eleven episodes but I'm going to miss Tennant's hair, acting ability and laugh. I'm not going to miss his tongue though. :)
Yes, at long last, I've watched it. Its September so, the wait will be over soon, and I figured it was time.
