Where Ravens Fly

I felt like I was on vacation and visiting a strange new planet this week.( rl new job ramblings )

Its a public holiday tomorrow so I am meeting my sister for our monthly sushi lunch and afterwards, I am off to see Avengers: Age of Ultron.( no spoilers please... )

and on that happy note, I leave you with three parting remarks:

For those of you who a) didn't buy the blue-ray version just for the gag reel and b) bought a blue ray player just to play the blue ray thing... I give you a scene which I think should have stayed in the film. Fic will be born of this!

I like to create pictures with words, paint a scene as it were.. And naturally, when reading stories, I really enjoy it when a writer does exactly that - paint me a picture, a snap shot. There was an old anime I used to watch which used to freeze frame and then stylize the scene like a drawing (in fact I think its a fairly common anime technique).

So this is my list of fanfic moments which I wish I could have as a screencap or animated icon :) (and then make my desktop and ogle for hours) 

The images evoked were either powerful or touching or just memorable - and needed to be freeze framed and screen capped.

I tend to have issues in creating links (still figuring this LJ thing out) so I plan to go back and actually create the links to these fics.... eventually. This list will be added to, of course. Plenty of good fic out there.
