I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and I'm so very happy to know that this verse will be continued:)
It was great to finally get a bit of Dean's back story and the reasoning behind his presence at T&E. Of course John would have protected Dean by keeping him off the grid, it makes perfect sense, he always looked out for his boys.
I must say I was getting kinda indignant on Dean's behalf when Vance portrayed him as someone deserving of his fate, and making him out to be a waster. But then I suppose that was the point, to show us the prejudice that Dean and Empaths in general face.
I absolutely adore the GDP verse, it's one of my all time favs, so it's great to see something in the same vein.
Great job, I can't wait to read more of this exciting verse.
