Gilmore Girls 1.10 to 2.5

So, I was kinda hoping that something tragic would happen to Max - because I didn't want Lorelai to break his heart, and I know this sounds terrible, but yeah. I knew the Max thing would work out but still... sad.

And now Dean (er Jared) is gone?? Huh? How? Why?
Part of me is glad (sounds terrible) but its just too weird watching Sam been a teenager and have a crush with a girl and snort, huff, shake his hair like Sam does. Tooooooo weird. Not in the least the Dean-name.

I usually don't go much farther than 2.5 in the Sam...I mean, Dean episodes when I re-watch Gilmore Girls. Initially, I enjoyed his character. Dean was bright, read books, and seemed to like Rory because she was smart. Midway through season one, those characteristics seemed to disappear in favor of a more bland boyfriend cliche (and Jess inherited his book smart qualities). Don't even get me started on what happened from season 2 onward.

Sorry for the ramble. I agree with you about the weirdness of seeing Sam Winchester in Stars Hollow. ;)

I had noticed the change... he becomes a lot more - emo, whiny, cliche (as you say). I'm keen to see a young Milo in this role as I don't think I ever saw him in any of the episodes. So, my comparison to Peter will begin!
