A sequel would be fabulous! I have so become a crack (fic - just have to put that in there ;)) addict! Took a quick look at the story to refresh my memory and it looks like the MD actually seems to be correct, so you ain't wrong. John thought that Rodney was a medical type doctor, so - MD :D
