A summation of my weekend
Aug. 19th, 2012 08:21 pmWriting accomplished: Nothing
Work done: Not enough, but now I am banking on the two hour flight tomorrow morning to finalise that presentation.
Big Bangs Signed Up for: One - Dragon Big Bang \o/
Number of fingernails in pain: One - somehow I managed to rip a good section of my nail off on the couch O.o - typing is now... slow (see work/writing)
Weekends away booked: One - Yay for next weekend
Reality Shows watched this weekend: Too many? :)
While haphazardly typing/working on my presentation last night, I caught Transformers 3 (whilst watching Masterchef Australia as well) and ... I ask myself yet again: Why? What were they thinking? Are you serious?
Let me set the scene for you: Me on the couch with my work laptop, trying to get all the animations in the right order. On the seat next to me, my personal laptop - playing Masterchef. And on the TV, on mute - Transformers 3. My expression alternated between concentration on my work, and 'are you kidding me expressions' at the TV.
Somehow, I think even with my undivided attention, the movie would have sucked. Even caught sporadically whenever something exploded... well.. what a waste of money, time and Shia le Bouf screaming. Masterchef though was kinda sad - Emma got eliminated.
