I think I'm leaving too much time between reading Dresden books. I barely remembered what happened in Cold Days.
This was an excellent story, including a great heist, with great new characters and returning old favourites, especially Lasciel. I love how complex and deep Harry's world is, all the layers and incredible intertwining mythologies and canon from previous stories.
Like Harry, I miss his old life (the lab, Bob, the Beetle, Molly and being a Wizard for Hire) so I felt his regret and heartache. However, I am enjoying the new drama and his continuing battle with the Winter mantle.
Overall: loved it
