Aunt!Fangirl Problems

My niece has started watching Supernatural. She is only in season 2 (near the end).

Problem 1: Season 1 and 2 seem so far away. I am struggling to remember what happens outside of: "ARGH! Jess is dead! ARGH John is dead." before it became "ARGH!!! Dean is going to hell!" This saddens me. I may have to rewatch season 1 and 2. Drat. *hehehehehe*

Problem 2: So much of my saved 'fanart', 'funny pics' have Cas in them. It boggles the mind that my niece doesn't know Cas yet. He's become so integral to the show.

Problem 3: I have almost zero age appropriate, non-season 3 spoilery fanfic to recommend O.o

I can only help with problem #3. Have her check out K. Hanna Korossy on Fanfiction.net. All gen, pretty clearly labeled for seasons and spoilers. She started writing during the first season, so if your niece goes to the first posting and goes from there, she should be good for awhile!

How lovely that your neice loves spn too! What about gen au fics either pre-series or so seriously different that it really barely touches on what happens in the show? I probably have a few of those i can recommend.
