Flash and Supergirl

tari_rooI am in love with Flash.No really. I love it more and more each time I watch it. I liked it from the get go, season one just built and built and season two continues and gets better and better and GAH!
This week I got two Flash episodes! YAY. 2.17 was... perfect. Timetravel idiocy. Cisco and Caitlin awesomeness. Angsty, clever Barry, who still fails. Redemption for Hartley. Evil!Wells - altho I do prefer Dick!Wells now. And Zoom angst and Eddie angst and Iris crying and Barry being just so utterly perfect handcuffed to a wheelchair and trying to super-spy cool and almost succeeding but so so failing!
I love it. I *smish* it.
Supergirl. Poor poor Supergirl. She needs Barry 24/7. I am far less enamoured with Supergirl. I am still trying to pinpoint the exact factors resulting in my indifference and alas, for Supergirl, while having the Flash guest star was great, it was pretty much the best thing on the series so far. I loved Flash in a strange world, his face, his 'alien, for real' - how much Winn loved him, and well, just... I liked it. The plot was crap and kinda pointed out just how much Kara needs a Team Flash with a plan at her back and not stupid DEO people. Go to Earth 1 Kara! No Superman shadow there. No stupid plots and alien family nonsense. She'd be happier - as long as she takes Winn with her.
