Friending... journals and comms
Greetings All
Is anyone else finding LJ just a tad quiet these days? I know I should be using this 'quiet' time to get some reading/writing done, but I fear all the new shows and my work load are preventing me *bats at the excuses rolling their eyes*.
But there is nothing like browsing through an interesting journal to while away the boring meetings, traffic, procastination, bathtime, eh... whatever.
So, what are your recs of interesting LJ journals or comms, that you visit on a regular basis and/or friend? Help me broaden my interweb horizons, please :)
And also, is anyone watching Elementary and Made in Jersey? I am - and so far, I like :)

I like it, but I think it's too similar to The Mentalist in structure, and too procedural to really be totally Sherlock, in my opinion. Replace Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson with any other generic names and the story will work just as well. It's something to while the time away while waiting for BBC Sherlock to finally air LOL

*ponders* I agree with you about the similiary with The Mentalist, as Jane does operate on a similiar vein. I think the reason I like it because its a great little Sherlock fix (as you said). As much as I love BBC Sherlock, the episodes are so few and intense, its almost a relief to watch something less intense and more lighthearted.
And I love Johnny Lee Miller :)
