Procrastination, thou name art Roo

I'm still trawling through pages of fabulous icon comms, trying to find the elusive ones I want (but don't know it yet) and finding dozens of fabulous ones I want and love and *wails in glee* 70? I'm going to struggle to restrict myself to 200! *shakes fist at [livejournal.com profile] gwalchmai345's prophetic mutterings*
So, instead of writing an h/c button post or doing a belated squee week post, I've decided to do this instead:

Random Fandom Questions!! - its sunday night, so sort of a meme :)

1. If you could be any bender (fire, earth, air, water), which bender would you be?
2. Sherlock or Tony? (since they both have Jude Law)
3. What song/artist has SPN introduced you to? (fanvids count)
4. Fav Chris Evans role?
5. The one book you hope they *never* make into a movie and the one you wish they would.
6. Elf, Hobbit, or Ranger (or any of the races of men). Or wait, or Dwarf? Or Carrot?
7. If you could develop a mutant power, what power would it be?

1. Air. I think it's the most versatile.

2. Sherlock. (To be fair, I'm not sure what "Tony" means.)

3. Jen Titus and "O Death". I can't think of anything else, really. It did make me revisit some songs I'd loved in the past.

4. I think I've only seen him as Captain America and Johnny Storm. CA was a better character.

5. Every book I love I never want to see made into a movie. Hollywood rarely manages to do justice to anything meaty. With that said, I'd love for them to adapt a Diana Wynne Jones book, just because I think she deserved way more credit than she ever got.

6. Elf. Because I could live for a long time and satisfy all my curiosity.

7. The ability to manipulate things. Wave my hands and get rid of dust. With a flick of the wrist put all my laundry away in the closet and dressers. Change a damn lightbulb on the outdoor lamppost that's ten feet over my head by just turning a finger instead of trying to balance on an eight foot ladder trying to manipulate a weird lightbulb that can't be touched into a delicate socket that doesn't...quite...fit.

Um, I may have thought about this a bit today before you asked this question.

:)

1. Interesting. and true :)
2. Tony as in Iron Man
4. Yeah, Chris did/does a great job with Cap
5. I don't think Howls Moving Castle counts as a 'Hollywood' version, but I agree. Diana Wynne Jones needs more credit
7. I am totally stealing your power idea ;)

2. OH! In that case...Tony! (see icon)

5. Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle was interesting, but it wasn't really the book. And it surprises me how many people who saw the movie *still* don't know it was a book.

7. :) It would be a great way to put books away too.
