Tell me a little something meme

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's Parker ...she likes money and cereal." I'd love it if everyone who's friended me did this. (Yes, even you people who I know really well.) Then post this in your own journal [only if you feel inclined]. In return, ask me anything you'd like to know about me and I'll give you an answer*.

I usually don't go looking for spoilers in my TV shows, that's true. Sometimes people talk about stuff and you just happen to stumble about it, though. So when reading all the Arrow boards some people already guessed that JB might be Tommy's Dad, and it wasn't such a huge surprise anymore.
Well, another fun fact I could have said would have been "John Barrowman once talked about me in an American TV show" but one, I don't remember if you already were around at the time and know the story, and two, it would be really bragging ;)

First you need to read this:

And then this:

and the second part of the story:

And Carole's second tweet:

So of course I had to make an action figure of Carole:

And at the convention in Peterborough I showed them to John Barrowman and also gave him a photoalbum with the picture story, he was amazed:

And finally here are all the details about the TV show, with video link:

And I wasn't even at home when it happened. I was visiting a friend and of course we had better things to do than browsing the internet. I got an SMS by another friend who told me my figures had been in the TV. I kinda wish I had watched it unspoiled, I wonder how loud my squee would have been then! But there was no chance, so many people who know me wrote to me and congratulated me.
So what do you think - shall I fly to London in a few weeks, for the book signings of the sequel of Hollow Earth, and surprise Carole with her figure? Or do you think it will be too much? It's been a year after all.
Have I actually pulled you towards the Torchwood fandom already? Heh *g*
