Tell me a little something meme

As borrowed from [livejournal.com profile] kristen999

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's Parker ...she likes money and cereal." I'd love it if everyone who's friended me did this. (Yes, even you people who I know really well.) Then post this in your own journal [only if you feel inclined]. In return, ask me anything you'd like to know about me and I'll give you an answer*.

*Providing it's answerable/suitable for public posting.

Going for something random here, because I tend to not keep any secrets in all my rl posts, so..um.... oh! If I were going to have any kind of plastic surgery, it'd be a nose job. I inherited my great-grandmother's very patrician profile. There are worse noses, but it's just a little bit too much for the rest of my face. On the other hand, it's mine, and I love food too much to risk losing my sense of smell (and therefore, all the good parts about taste) for a little bit of vanity.

ETA: grr, accidentally hit post before I was ready, don't know how that happened. Hmm. How'd you end up working in HR?

Oooo, random indeed, but very interesting. I hadn't considered the impact of rhinoplasty on your sense of smell, but a real worry to be sure.

A: I ended up in HR quite by accident as it where. My first job out of school was as a receptionist for a recruitment agency. And my next company hired me as an administrator, because I had recruitment background (even if I hadn't done any recruitment) and it snow balled from there. I got a job as hr administrator at the next company, and then got promoted and then promoted again and now I am Evil HR Manager. *shrugs*
