Ahhhh.... but Dean being perceived as a waste of space by those in Law Enforcement is canon and one of the aspects of the season 2 and 3 storylines I enjoyed. Its the whole masked superhero idea, perceived by LEOs to be a menace but in actual fact a hero. That diconnect between reality and LEO-perception is one I love reading and exploring.
