I fell in love with Sam Vimes right about the same time as he fell in love with Sybil Ramkin. There is that scene in Guards Guards were Sam realises Sybil was the type of woman who never expected a man to ever see her bedroom and he kinda... falls for her, right there. I love that man, so much. Esp Nightwatch - gah!! GAH!!

Yes, I had a lot of 'WHERE's SAM??' comments during these stories. It is hard and in my mind Sam isn't cold to Dean, more... trying not to think about him. Trying to do the right thing. Its something I am going to explore in the sequels. Sam's feelings about the seperation.
